We hired carolyn a. events later in our planning process when we realized we needed a coordinator since the wedding details became more involved than we originally anticipated. they were always so quick to respond to emails during the planning process and promptly provided recommendations - their recommendation for our gown alterations person was tremendously helpful. I am so thankful for that! We had the misfortune to have our venue get changed to another location the night before our wedding rehearsal - something we had no control over and was exceptionally stressful to say the very least. they helped notify our vendors involved that night as we worked on notifying our guests. they made the trip to the new venue the day before our wedding to meet us so that we could see our new venue for the first time and work through re-configuring many critical elements of our day. It was a trying situation none of us could have planned on and our planner remained calm through difficult issues that arose and went out of her way to help us through the process. We had to cancel our wedding rehearsal for our family and bridal party due to the logistical and time issues the venue change created, but they came with my husband and I to meet our wonderful pastor as we tried to run through things as best as possible. they were very patient and reminded me of things that they had helped us take care of since my brain was pretty fried at that point. they were always sweet through everything and we are grateful that we ended up having a beautiful love-filled wedding despite the many obstacles we faced getting to that point. We were more than pleased with our decision to use carolyn a. events as our day-of-coordinator. they did an excellent job with every aspect of helping us. Months prior to our wedding, they were in contact with us and answering any questions we had. Leading up to the day, they were incredibly responsive and got back to us very quickly. Our ceremony plans had to be changed right before the ceremony due to rain, and our planners were there fixing everything. Our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without the help of them. We highly recommend carolyn a. Events for your wedding/event planning. They were very helpful in establishing a very professional and organized timeline for our wedding. This timeline helped family, close friends, and vendors know where/when to be for our wedding rehearsal and wedding day. On the day of the wedding, carolyn a. events took a huge burden off my family. My family handmade a ton of decorations for the wedding. carolyn a. events set up everything we made with flawless execution. My family was able to get ready for the big day stress free without any time pressure. In addition, carolyn a. events handled many details behind the scenes. These tiny details make a big difference in a wedding/event. For example, the day of our wedding was extremely windy. They notified me that the flowers arrangements were literally blowing over. We were able to make some last minute changes with the florist. All of the flowers looked beautiful during the ceremony carolyn a. events is prepared to overcome any unforeseen emergency that may occur on your big day. Finally, while we were off enjoying our honeymoon, they went above and beyond closing the loop with vendors on clean up and remaining items.

Working with carolyn a events was an absolute dream. As a perfectionist, I was a little reluctant to let go of control over my big day - but they were absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend them (and have to a few other brides) for any event planning or coordination needs. they handled the challenge of being our coordinator based in Atlanta when I was based in Denver and our wedding was in North Carolina with ease. they promptly scheduled meetings, put together a great packet with all necessary details to keep everyone organized, and helped keep everything running behind the scenes on the big day!
